Together is a shot that I have waited over two years to capture. There was a very small window of opportunity of no more than twenty minutes – it required all of the elements to simultaneously come together. The position of the sun sitting perfectly between the chalk stacks with blue skies, a high tide and overhead barrelling waves are extremely rare. What made this capture even more special is that the waves were from a ground swell and the wind was coming from the north west meaning that it blew the wave back just enough to reveal the chalk stack at the right moment with the sunlight beaming through the top of the wave.
